Terrible Job

Commenters of the Mike and the Mad Blog. You guys are really dropping the ball today. 3 comments on today's show? C'mon. We expect more. That is an atrocious job out of you. Not sure if we can trust you in a big spot. This idea that we handed the keys to the blog over to you and all we've got today are 3 comments is just a bad job. We expected your "A" Game today. Think of this as your pennant race. We need you guys to perform. We're unable to listen today. Step it up. What is happening today on Mike'd Up/Francesa on the Fan/The show formerly known as Mike and the Mad Dog?

Fuck that,

It's not our fault that Mike Fatcesa has sapped our energy. The guy sucks. I've long since run out of email addresses to use to get a temp. subscription to Unleashed.

Lisa from Whitestone just called with her husky, cigarette voice. What a loser. Her beloved Yankees are done, so she calls Mike and rags on the Mets, who are still alive.

Dog would have torn her up, told her that Yankee fans shouldn't worry about the Mets, which is the correct thign to say.

Shut the fuck up, Lisa. She you in April, 2009.

Alright, if no one wants to step up then I will take the mic. Let's see...about 10 minutes ago Mike showed told the audience about hoe when he came to work today, there was a Yankee's tombstone waiting for him. He then went on to present it to the camera and then said he suspected E2 of being the mastermind behind it. Other than that he has gone on to give the Met's credit for winning in a big spot last night. Santana is the only reason they won...if they were leading by a run or two, then the bullpen would have 100% blew the game. Mike also asked Minaya if Manuel would be back if he didnt win this week, and Minaya said yes. Mike then responded with "So he's guaranteed a job next year" and Minaya said "no."

Other than that, not much else is new with Mike. Hope that helps. Plus, it's hard to watch and blog while trying to get a college education, so cut me a break.

wtsherman...dig deep down and find that emotional reserve that you have. I know you can do it. Mike needs you on that dial. We need you on that dial..Deep down in places we don't talk about it at parties with friends...

Well, there was some guy with curly hair and a real relaxed look, kinda like an ex Rock Jock from the 60's, early 70's, impersonating Rick Peterson. He did a very good job though, except for the look.

Not a bad job by us at all!!!!

It's a sign of just how bad todays show has been! With the way the Mets bullpen has performed who wants to see/hear Rick Peterson in studio for an hour???

I was so bored I'm actually watching the congressional hearings on CNBC.

Maybe Mikey can partner up with Paulson or Bernanke? They have about the same level of emotion/personality as Fatso.

In retrospect--- maybe it is'nt as much fun when Mike does'nt have the Mets to pick on?

FTLT,

Lt. Daniel Caffey just swung by. He was soaked in a trenchcoat and pretty despondent. Apparently, he's been in the Straits of Hermoz since late last year, training JAG officers. He informed me cavalierly about the untimely suicide of M&MD, how on the last day they dressed up the show with the traditional doggie reveille ("Aaaaaaaannnddd Good Afternoon Everybody..." he intoned plangently, sardonically) and ended it for all of New York to hear. I nodded, with the deep but tired resorvoirs of equanimity of a Lt. Sam Weinberg.

Bill from Hauppage was here too. When Kaffey was finished, he said we still had a case with Francesa. Kaffey abused him volubly. After Bill stormed out and Kaffey laughed blackly, I took the proffered fifth and swigged thickly.

Finally, I can listen to Mike now...he never sounded better, but nevertheless this comes right after i sat through seven hours of the policies and procedures of Comcast Sportsnet..but i ll step up to take us home for the stretch run..

Mike is doing his usual spot, with Jerry Manuel and the same question constantly come up but he just throws a different name in every week. Its goes a little something this: Jerry will your throw (insert Met bullpen pitcher here) into the deep end.." These interviews suck...

Does Mike have fat surrounding his brain too..

Mike: Zambrano gave up100 runs in two innings his last start and threw a no hitter the one before that."

Jerry: "Yea i know i want the guy that gave up 100 runs. "

Fatcesa: "Yea i know which you want. you want the one that gave up 100 runs."

Are you kidding me Mike...

Too busy sitting shiva for the Yankees to comment on Mike's crappy show.

But let me guess who called in -- Lisa from Whitestone, Harvey from Dix Hills, Mike from Montclair, maybe Ira from Staten Island.

We all need to cheer for golfer Boo Weekly. Mike did not like his antics on the golf course during the Ryder Cup. I guess he was acting like Joba right Mikey. But anyways, Boo Weekly wins the Masters in 09, and we can all be happy.
