What We Have Learned Today

We have learned that the weather in Saratoga Springs this summer has been stormy. We have learned that it has resembled the weather in Florida. We have learned that fans are still upset about the PSL's. We have learned that Yankee fans have called Chris to complain about the new ticket prices next year. We have learned that Mike thinks the Mets might have problems selling tickets next year. We have learned that Mike thinks the Yankees won't have that problem. We have learned that Mike and Chris are both sick of the Favre coverage. We have learned that Chris is still down on Favre. Actually, very down on him. We have learned that the Packers will never let Favre play that first game of the season for Minnesota. We have learned that Mike thinks Favre doesn't care about the franchise because he wants to go to a hated rival in Minnesota. We have learned Mike thinks that's like a Red Sox coming to New York (hmmm, Johnny Damon anyone?). What we have not learned yet, as of 1:39PM, is what Mike Francesa thinks about the Tampa Rays being in first place in August.

Well, since they're stuck on football, how about one of those posts where you write a script about what you think they'll say. I need some baseball talk.

OK, to be fair to the Arrogant One, what Francesa said was that it would be like someone asking Yankees for his release he they can play for the Red Sox. Damon was already a free agent.

But this is bordering on nauseating. Russo is in off-the-charts be-nice-to-Mikey mode, and The Arrogant One is pissing and moaning about his microphone.

I'm surprised Mike thinks the Mets will have trouble selling tix next year. Everyone is excited about the new stadium and should be jumping to check out the new one no matter how the team is performing. If anything I could see the Yankees having trouble selling tix next year (though I think they'll be fine) because not as many fans are happy about the old stadium's closing.

Chris' microphone is really annoying me right now.
