Despite Russo stating at the beginning of the show that he would be wearing a Rays hat throughout the broadcast, he seems to either fail to remember to put it on or finds it very uncomfortable because we begin the 3pm hour with Russo sans hat.
Is that hat made of wool thus suffocating Russo's head?
Could the combination of headphones and hat be just an unbearable combination?
Is he still bothered by the fact that he couldn't figure out if it was blue or teal and is not wearing it without confirmation on the exact color?
Or is it one of those Willie Mays things where when he would run the bases his helmet would fly off. For Russo, when he broadcasts the hat just flies off?
Whatever the reason, Russo's committment to the hat has been shaky at best.
