CNN HAS SHOT DOWN THEIR ENTIRE NETWORK TO REPORT THAT MIKE FRANCESCA WILL NO LONGER BE QUENCHING HIS EGO WITH DIET COKE, BUT WITH GREEN TEA. THE RUMORED REASON IS THAT HIS EGO IS BLOATED AND NEEDS SOME CLEANSING.

This is maybe the worst contest I've ever seen. Mike doesn't give these guys a chance to talk anything, which is pretty much what I thought it would be. Mike does all the talking, he asks a few softball questions that require basically a one-word answer, and we learn nothing about these contestants.
Mike, if you really want to learn about these contestants, their knowledge, their skills as broadcasters, you give them 1-2 mins to discuss whatever they want in sports, recommending they pick one team (or player/coach, etc.), analyze, make a prediction, give opinions, etc. That better allows their personalities and knowledge to be seen in a short span. This is not an easy contest to run to being with, but Mike, as you would expect, clearly did no preparation on how to run this thing and typically makes it all about him. That one guy had it right, the winner will say about as much on the air as that broadcast partner from "Major League" and will serve to bring Mike his drinks during the break, perhaps even unzip/zip him in the bathroom as well.
The problem is none of the regular contestants actually have a shot..the only people with a real shot are three they have been with holding all day...which undoubtedly is gonna be all Sal probably..But this has been the worst week of programming in the history of programming...
Yeah, green alright. Green with envy. And I can't say I blame the fat fock. He must DIE when he thinks about what MD is getting from those brain deads at Sirious.
