YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

Right into Mets bashing, and I'm sure we have Yanks bashing from 1:40-2

I missed the first hour or so. I turned it on in time to hear Buck Martinez call the Tampa third baseman "Kevin" Longoria. Did he think that since he was on with Russo he was required to mispronounce a name?

McEnroe is a superior guest, though, you have to admit that.

Johnny...yes. he is no doubt a very good guest. He even did a great job by asking about the mike and the mad dog controversy. But still, 2nd segment of the show on a tennis spot?

Jerome! Making a big comeback with solo Doggy these past few weeks. Putting Erickson in a tricky spot when Mike comes back?

He's surprisingly tolerable as a guest. I used to hate him when he was playing, because the screaming at the refs (umps?) seemed forced after a while, like he was expected to do it, and it was his schtick. And, I've always held (and still do) tennis, hockey and lacrosse players, golfers, skiers, motocross riders and extreme sports guys in very low esteem. They (their parents, that is) have the money to dedicate their youth to going to practice and to sports camps. Soccer, football, baseball, and boxing are sports that are available to virtually any kid, no matter what their economic status.
