Another Case of Framnesia

Francesa just went at with Mike from Montclair over whether or not to bat Cano cleanup. Mike from Montclair argued against the move, claiming that Cano doesn't get enough bit hits and is not a clutch player. Francesa shot back "you can't say that yet, he's too young" about Cano being unclutch. Again, another case of Framnesia for Mike. Francesa spent the offseason telling us that David Wright is not clutch and will never be clutch. Here's a newsflash: Wright is younger than Cano. Nice selective memory there big man...

Right now, I'd bat Gardner cleanup before I bat Cano cleanup!

But I can't disagree at all about your point. It's just typical Francesa.

I would probably bat Teixeira cleanup, maybe move Nady 3rd. I don't know where that "Gardner at the top" idea came from...I haven't been listening to Mike in quite some time. Obviously Damon is at the top....

Max Kellerman took his famed army and marched out of ESPN-1050 headquarters Tuesday, ending his three-year relationship with the radio station. Is he now marching his troops toward WFAN's Astoria bunker to forge an eventual alliance with Mike (Sports Pope) Francesa?

I was waiting for a comment about Max as well...what are the odds Francesca mentions anything about it today? The general concensus seems to be Max+Mike is a bad idea, but Max with his own show on WFAN is a good idea.

Mike would never work with Kellerman. Too much ego in the room. I could see Kellerman and Evan (young demographic) with Beningo moving to prime time.

mentioned and pretty much dismissed (I'm surprised he even commented as much as he did)

lucky...i'm not sure he totally dismissed it...feel like he left a slight door open when he said something like
"that's all I have to say about it.."

FTLT: I agree, I didn't mean he dismissed the idea, but more the conversation. I also noted that he said he knew Max since he was young (I think he actually said that twice), and didn't say anything outright negative about Max. So in a Francesca way, I think that was a glowing review and invitation to Max.
